About Scot

Scot has worked in the UK and Channel Islands Financial Services
industries since 1995 and his main skills are investment portfolio
construction/management - utilising his keen interest in global
macroeconomics.

Scot trained in the private client division of Deloitte before coming to
Jersey in 1999, when he joined HSBC as an Investment Adviser.
He was appointed Head of the Rest of World desk in 2000 where
he was responsible for a portfolio of High Net Worth private clients.
In 2004 he joined Ansbacher, a boutique private bank owned by
Qatar National Bank, as Head of Investment. In 2006 he was
posted to Qatar where he established the first Private Bank within
the newly formed Qatar Financial Centre.

Scot returned to Jersey in 2008 focusing on Corporate and
Intermediary relationships in the Channel Islands and joined
Rossborough Financial in June 2014 to develop the investment
division.

From 2010 - 2021, Scot served on the Committee of Management
of the States of Jersey Public Employees Contributory Retirement
Scheme and was a voting member of the Investment Sub-
Committee.

Scot is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and holds the Chartered Wealth Manager designation. He holds the following CISI Level 6 Qualifications - Private Client Investment Advice and Management; Pension Transfers & Planning Advice; Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning.

Scot's other qualifications include BA (Hons) Business Law and Finance, Financial Planning Certificate, Investment Management Certificate and CII G10 Taxation and Trusts. Scot also holds the Advanced Certificate in Anti Money Laundering issued by the International Compliance Association.

Scot was appointed to the Board of Rossborough Financial in May
2015 and assumed his current role as Managing Director in May
2022.
