About John

John Douglas joined Rossborough Financial Services Limited in February 2022 as Finance and Operations Manager, leading the Finance Team. With a career in Jersey’s financial services sector dating back to 1994, John brings a wealth of local expertise complemented by international experience in South Africa, Switzerland, and Central Africa. Prior to relocating to Jersey, John worked in auditing and accounting in South Africa, where he earned a Bachelor of Accounting Science qualification.

John’s professional strengths include client and stakeholder relations, financial and management accounting, statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence.

Outside of work, John is an enthusiastic cricketer and golfer, and actively supports the community as Treasurer for a local charity dedicated to helping Commonwealth students access secondary education.
