Membership

The eligibility conditions and contribution rates in respect of your Employer sponsored pension arrangements under The Occupational Retirement Plan are determined by your Employer. If you are a member of The Occupational Retirement Plan please log into the secure section of our website to obtain information specific to your scheme. You can log in here.

On joining The Occupational Retirement Plan you will not be requested to provide evidence of your identity or address as normally required under Jersey's and Guernsey's Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

However, you will be required to provide verification of your identity and address when you withdraw your benefits at retirement.

Joining the Plan

To become a member of The Occupational Retirement Plan you and your Employer are required to complete a Member Application Form.

The Member Application Form is your request to be admitted as a member of the Occupational Retirement Plan administered in accordance with the 'Deed of Adherence' signed by your Employer and the terms of the Trust Deed and Rules under which it is approved.

The Member Application Form is a multi-purpose document and its completion will evidence the following:

  • Your request to be admitted as a member of The Occupational Retirement Plan.
  • You acknowledge Rossborough Financial as the financial adviser in respect of membership of the Plan.
  • Your investment instructions and confirmation of the contributions to be made to your Plan.
  • You authorise your Employer to deduct your monthly contributions from your salary, if applicable.
  • Your Employer's confirmation that you are eligible to participate in the employer sponsored Occupational Retirement Plan.

You will also be requested to complete a 'Death Benefit Nomination Form' advising the Trustees of The Occupational Retirement Plan how you would like the value of your benefit accrued in Plan distributed in the unfortunate event of your death before retirement.
