Group Risk Benefits

Group Risk benefits are designed to protect and insure Employees and their families in the event of long-term illness or death while working for an organisation.

What is Group Risk?

Group Risk is an umbrella term for three Employer sponsored employee benefits: Group Life Insurance, Group Income Protection and Critical Illness cover.

Provided in isolation or as part of a wider benefits package, these can give Employees access to insured protection cover either at a reduced rate or free of charge as they are covered under one "group" policy. This is often more readily available than individual cover since most Employees do not generally need to provide medical details before cover is granted.

Group Risk benefits are highly valued by Employeers as they provide financial protection and peace of mind for both themselves and their families, yet they are relatively inexpensive for Employers compared with some other components of the typical benefits package.

Rossborough can guide the Employer through the establishment process for a new scheme explaining all the options along the way. Please follow the links below for more information on the benefits that we can arrange.
